Dr Chhitij Srivastava is one of the very few trained Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists in India. After his MD & DNB in psychiatry from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, he obtained further specialist training (MRCPsych & CCT) at the South London & Maudsley (SLAM) NHS Trust and Institute of Psychiatry, London which is the best training institute for psychiatry in UK and probably the best in the world. He briefly worked as a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at King’s College Hospital, London before returning to India. He has previously worked as Professor of Psychiatry at Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad. He currently works at ACDC as Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. He continues to be an honorary researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, London and is also an adjunct faculty at the Centre of Behaviour & Cognitive Sciences, University of Allahabad.
